Kano Conveys 267 Students To 11 States On Exchange Programme


Kano State Government has conveyed the first batch of 267 Students to eleven northern states under the Students Exchange Programme.

The students who comprises males and females were conveyed to their respective states of studies to commence 2nd term 2023/2024 academic session.

A statement signed by the Director Public Enlightenment Kano State Ministry of Education, Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru revealed that the affected Students were transported to Adamawa, Bauchi, Benue, Jigawa, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe, Kaduna and Nasarawa states

According to the statement, conveyance of the second batch of the students to the remaining 5 states including Gombe, Borno, and Niger states would take place on 23th Jan, 2024 while students of Kwara state are expected to be conveyed on 30th Jan, 2024.

” Conveyance of Plataue state students under the exchange programme will be communicated to parents/students later, ” said the statement.

The statement however reiterated Government’s commitment in providing all the necessary support for the success of the Programme.

It further noted with appreciation the cooperation given by parents to the Ministry in it’s effort to make the students exchange programme more beneficial.
