Kano Govt Reaffirm Committments To Better Healthcare Services

The Executive Secretary Kano state hospitals management board Dr. Mansur Mudi Nagoda has reaffirmed government’s commitment towards ensuring a 100% revival of all health facilities in the state.

Dr. Nagoda made this known after a meeting and mid-night inspection carried out by His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kano State Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, the commissioner for health Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf and the Executive Secretary Kano State Hospitals Management Board Dr Mansur Mudi Nagoda in the early hours of Sunday.

In a statement signed by the Board’s Public Relations Officer, Sameera Sulaiman, the ES said, “we are ready to receive any complain on needs from both the hospitals management and the patients, adding that a massive rotation of medical personnel is on going in all the facilities”.

Dr. Nagoda further explained that anyone posted to Hasiya Bayero paediatrics Hospital and other facilities should as a matter of urgency report to their new post. Failure to report by monday morning, the staff would be considered a ghost worker and he will be obliged to forward variation order to stop his/she’s salary.

He stressed that everyone should mind this statement and advised that staff should not falter as there is no going back on every decision and instructions given.

The Executive Secretary said there is no room for complains on new posting as it would not be entertained till after 6months of assumption adding that unscheduled visits are still on-going to all facilities in the state.
