President Tinubu Launches 7th National Youth Games In Asaba

President Bola Tinubu has declared the Seventh National Youth Games competition open in Asaba Delta State on Saturday.

The President, who was represented by the Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, was joined by the host Delta State governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and other top government officials, thanked the Delta State Government for sponsoring the seventh edition of NYG after sponsoring the main National Festival competition in 2022.

President Tinubu said the importance of this competition is national unity, patriotism, mutual love and mutual understanding, especially among the youths who are going to be the leaders of tomorrow.

He also called on the young players to be disciplined, polite and obedient and avoid the use of banned drugs. He prayed for the competition to start and finish successfully.
