10th Edition Qur’anic Graduation: Darul Hijra Islamiyya Graduates 32 Students

Darul Hijra Islamiyya School holds its 10th edition of the Qur’anic Graduation Ceremony of 32 students.

The School was established in 1990s aimed at providing Islamic religious education for the children of the residents of Government Technical Quaters and surrounding.

Darul Hijra Islamiyya School had its first edition of the Qur’anic Graduation in 1998, with the number of 17 students including 8 males and 9 females, and from then the school conducted a series edition of graduation of the Holy Book.

Speaking at the event last Sunday, held at the school in Government Technical Quarters, Nassarawa, Kano, the Principal of the school Malam Khidir Lawal Balarabe has charged graduants including 13 males and 19 females, to apply the knowledge acquired and reflect the virtues of the Holy Book in their daily routines.

The Principal expressed gratitude to the renowned philanthropist, and chief host of the event, Alhaji Kabiru Sani Kwangila Yakasai, the Chairman SKY Construction Company Ltd, for his tireless support toward the development of the environs and indeed the school since its establishment.

While commending the stakeholders, elders of the Technical Quaters, heads and members of the school committee, teachers and leadership of the school for their commitments and immense support, he reminded that the school as a brain child of the late Malam Adamu Yaroro of blessed memory, will never forget to always pray for his eternal rest in Aljannah.

He further mentioned those who also in many ways, contributed to the development of Technical Quaters, people like late Alhaji Hamisu Abdullahi Giwaran, Alhaji Ahmad Ali, late Alhaji Idris Ahmad, late Bello Danbatta and all of the departed ones, he prayed that may Aljannah Firdausi be their final abode.

During the ceremony the invited clerics spoke extensively on the significance of acquiring the knowledge of the Holy Qur’an.

In attendance are the parents of the graduants, relatives, friends and other well wishers.
