Despite Providing Proof, Court Clears Auwalu Sankara – Taslim’s Husband

Taslim’s husband Alh. Nasiru Buba who filed a case against the suspended Commissioner of Special Services of Jigawa state Alh. Auwalu Danladi Sankara over alleged socialisation with his wife Taslim, has complained about how the office of the Assistance Inspector General of Police Zone 1 in Kano has submitted an investigation report to upper Shari’ah Court Kofar Kudu kano without considering his evidences of pictures, voices and videos more than 850 presented to the AIG office.

Briefing newsmen in Kano metropolis, Alh. Nasiru Buba was very surprised on how the court acquitted Alh. Auwalu Danladi Sankara without being informed about the court sitting, which makes (him) the suspect that there is a cover-up in the report.

He said that although the court has the right to make the decision based on the advice of the attorney general, but no one inviting him or his counsel to attend the session.

He is in doubt about the authenticity of the investigation due to sidelining or deprived of his right for fair hearing before the judgment.

On his part, his counsel Br. Rabi’u M. Sidi confirmed that no one invited them to the court session.

He said that according to the Shari’ah system, the person who files a direct complains should be heard from his side before decision.

Brr. Rabi’u Sidi, who was surprised by clearing up of Auwalu Sankara, said that they are not satisfied with the court’s decision, so they will discuss with his client to decide on the next step.

It can be recalled that yesterday Monday, the upper Shari’ah court judge of Kofar Kudu Shek Ibrahim Sarki Yola, acquitted the suspended Commissioner of special duties Jigawa State Alh. Auwalu Danladi Sankara on the allegation of adultery with house wife Taslim based on the investigation report presented to him by the Office of the AIG , Zone One Kano, where he said that there is no clear evidence to show that he did so.
