KNSG Sets For More Investment On Sports Development

Kano State Government has planned to invest on Sports Development in 2024 budget.
The acting Commissioner, Youth and Sports Development, Ambassador Hamza Safiyanu Kachako disclosed this while briefing newsmen in his office.
The plan according to the Commissioner will include renovation of Mahaha Sports Complex, training of young talents in sporting activities, improved welfare for members of Kano Pillars Football team and attracting foreign investment in sports development in Kano as well as introducing traditional games to engage youths in meaningful ventures.
In addition, he said Bicycles Racing competition would be introduced for more youths participation.
He further said the sports ministry would partner with Money Point Companies to empower two thousand youths on POS business for self reliance.
The acting commissioner who is also a commissioner for Rural and Community Development, described sports as one of the thriving modern business across the world, he urged youths to make the best use of the opportunity for their own progress.
