NSCDC Zone 12 Kano Honors Staff Who Returned Over N20 Million

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Zone 12 Zonal Command in Kano, has honoured one of its volunteer staff members for exemplary integrity after he returned more than ₦20 million to its rightful owner.
The Zonal Commander, ACG Amos Abiodun Taiwo, presented a commendation letter to Mr. Nura Abdullahi in recognition of his honesty, sincerity, and upright conduct. Abdullahi reportedly discovered the large sum of money inside a tricycle and immediately took steps to ensure it was returned.

The money, which belonged to Alhaji Mustafa, a businessman from Katsina state who was in Kano for a transaction, was safely returned without any amount missing.
ACG Taiwo praised Abdullahi for demonstrating rare integrity, noting that his action reflects the core values of the NSCDC and serves as a model for others. He added that such conduct helps to build public trust and strengthens the image of the Corps.
