The Sa’adatu Rimi University of Education Kano, designed to spend over eight billion naira in the year 2024 in various projects of the institution.
The Vice Chancellor of the university Professor Yahaya Isa Bunkure disclosed this while briefing newsmen shortly after appearing before standing committee of higher education in Kano state House of Assembly.
He said the figures designed to execute cap projects and payments of staff allowances.
On his part the provost of Audu Bako College of Agriculture Danbatta Professor Mohd Wailare said the 2024 proposed budget of the college plans to make general renovation of structures.
Speaking shortly at the house after budget defence, the Executive Secretary of Kano State Senior Secondary Schools Board Dr. Kabiru Ado Zakirai said the proposed budget make provisions to upgrade 813 schools under the board apart of training and regular payments of staff salary and other development projects.

Similarly, the Director planning Kano State Private Institution Board Alh. Hamisu Ibrahim said they proposed to spend 50 Million Naira in 2024 budget focusing data capturing of Six thousand private schools, regular monitoring thier services to ensure total compliance of government curriculum, books among other education policies.
