Kano Governor CommendsTransparent Leadership Of M-D REMASAB Zago

The Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed his appreciation and commendation to the Managing Director of the Refuse Management & Sanitation Board (REMASAB) Alhaji Amadu Haruna Zago, for his exceptional display of transparency and accountability in the payment of four months’ outstanding allowances to his Casual Staff.

Governor Yusuf described this act as evidence of resourcefulness, managerial skills, and perseverance during the exercise, where Alhaji Zago returned an amount totaling twenty-seven million after the payment of allowances. This demonstration of exemplary leadership by the Managing Director is highly commendable and laudable.

In a commendation letter sent by the Governor through the Office of the Secretary to the State Government and signed by Acting Secretary Alhaji Abdullahi Musa, who is also the Head of the State Civil Servants, the Governor congratulated Alhaji Zago for his outstanding leadership. He also urged him to continue striving to reciprocate this development by sustaining his patriotic obligation.

Speaking to the Government House Press Crew, Alhaji Amadu Haruna Zago extended his congratulations to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his recent success at the Supreme Court.

He acknowledged that this achievement serves as a clear testimony that the people of Kano have placed their trust in Governor Yusuf to effectively run the affairs of the state. Alhaji Zago further wished the Governor success in all his endeavors.
